PORTLAND – The much-anticipated reopening of the East Ender in Portland has finally happened. The shuttered restaurant has been revived by new owners Bill Leavy and Karl Dueban (of Small Axe Truck fame), who announced the opening on their Facebook page Monday.

But don’t expect the old East Ender if you go. They’ve renovated the place, created a new menu and changed things up to put their stamp on it. Have you tried it yet? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

The new East Ender website is still under development, but you can catch a glimpse of what’s happening on the East Ender Facebook page.
