Elevation Burger to open Saturday in Augusta

Burger lovers are about to get a fresh option in the Augusta area when Elevation Burger opens in the Marketplace at Augusta on Saturday, March 21, at 11 a.m.

Known for their USDA-certified organic, 100% grass-fed, free-range beef burgers, Elevation Burger is among the chains that encourage custom-made sandwiches. Customers choose from toppings like caramelized onions, oven-glazed mushrooms and organic bacon (don’t worry — they have the basics like tomatoes, lettuce and cheese too!) to craft a personalized burger. Elevation Burger also serves up organic pasture-raised chicken, veggie burgers, fresh-cut fries, shakes and malts.

This is Elevation Burger’s third Maine location, and first outside of the greater Portland area. It joins the South Portland location near the Maine Mall, and the Old Port location on Commercial Street. Owned by Portland natives Christopher DiMillo and Mark Caron, the pair said they chose the location for its easy access and proximity to fans who’ve been driving long distances for Elevation’s burgers.

A grand opening weekend is also being planned, but you’ll have to wait a bit for that. The Augusta Elevation Burger will celebrate its opening on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
