The opening menu includes things like a mussels appetizer ($14) with white wine, shallots, garlic, red chili flakes and chives. Entrees, which range in price from $12 to $28, include prime rib and pan seared or char broiled sea scallops, among others.

Evenrood’s is owned by Lisa Leonard who said Thursday they were planning on having lunch menu, but hadn’t finalized details. In addition to indoor seating, the restaurant plans to have up to 15 tables for outdoor seating along Broad Street, according to documentation provided by the City of Bangor.

On their Facebook page, Evenrood’s staff said they were looking forward to giving patrons “an excellent dining experience.”

Evenrood’s is located at 25 Broad St., in Bangor’s iconic circular building.
