Happy Endings, new downtown Bangor martini bar, now open

Happy Endings Dessert & Martini Bar quietly opened last night (Tuesday) in downtown Bangor. The new bar and eatery was announced in early August, and after extensive renovations to 32 Main St., the downtown storefront set in between Paddy Murphy’s and Bella Hair Studio.

Owner Melissa Smith plans to offer an extensive list of martinis and specialty cocktails, alongside a full bar, a wine and Scotch list, and a selection of dessert wines and local wines. In addition to an array of desserts, Happy Endings will offer a small menu of tapas-style treats, such as fondue and vegetarian options, created by chef Tim Lewis.

Official hours have not yet been announced, but it’s safe to say the cheekily-named Happy Endings will be open for dinner and drinks, most nights of the week. Check the Facebook page for more information.
